Privacy Policy
This policy explains how FileSpace Pro (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our website and tools. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the service.
Tools that run in your browser
Most of our tools run entirely on your own device. The files and text you use with these tools are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to us or to anyone else. We never see them.
Tools that process files on a server
A small number of tools cannot run in the browser and instead process your file on a server. Any such tool clearly says so on its page before you use it. For these tools:
- Your file is uploaded over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection only to produce your result.
- Your uploaded file and the result are deleted automatically — normally as soon as your download is ready, and no later than one hour afterwards.
- We do not open, copy, share, sell, or use your files for any purpose other than producing your result.
No online service can guarantee perfect security, so please do not upload highly sensitive documents to any online tool.
Information we collect automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical log data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure, and diagnose problems. Our site is served through Cloudflare, which processes this data on our behalf.
Analytics
If we use analytics, we collect only aggregate, non-identifying usage information — such as page views and which tools are opened — to understand what people find useful. It is not used to identify you. Analytics are off unless this page is updated to say otherwise.
Advertising and cookies
When advertising is switched on, we use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may set cookies or use similar technologies to show and measure ads. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Where required, we ask for your consent before non-essential cookies are set, and you can decline.
Third-party services
We rely on a small number of providers to run the service, such as Cloudflare (hosting and delivery) and, where enabled, Google (advertising). These providers handle data only as needed to provide their service.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Because our in-browser tools do not send us your files, we usually hold very little about you. To make a request, contact us at our contact page. We handle personal information in line with applicable privacy laws, including Canada’s PIPEDA and, for visitors in the EU/UK, the GDPR.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
